Our founder and Creative Director
Tavisha Hewa-Gamage is a mother, teacher, and artist.
AGAMA was created from the belief that the world doesn’t need more clothes, it needs more stories.
Drawing on her Sri Lankan heritage and Australian identity, AGAMA is a reflection of her journey to understand what it means to belong, to express, and to create with intention.
This work marks a shift, from navigating spaces that once felt limiting, to creating something expansive, intentional, and deeply personal. Born during maternity leave with her second daughter, a time that invited reflection on purpose and the kind of world we hope to shape for the next generation.
AGAMA exists as a platform for dialogue and a celebration of imperfection.
